Dr. Angelos Karatzias is a board-certified Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon with specialist expertise in aesthetic surgery, reconstructive procedures and advanced wound management. He earned his medical degree from Democritus University of Thrace in Greece and subsequently completed an MSc in Wound Healing and Tissue Repair at Cardiff University. His specialist training included experience in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at Nicosia General Hospital, followed by further training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Dubrava University Hospital in Zagreb. He is a Fellow of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (FEBOPRAS) and maintains an active clinical practice in Nicosia. Alongside his surgical work, he serves as Medical Director of the Mobile Wound Healing Unit and lectures in the MSc programme in Wound Healing and Tissue Repair at Frederick University. He is also President of the Cyprus Wound Management Society and represents Cyprus within the International Working Group on the Diabetic Foot. His educational activity focuses on aesthetic medicine, surgical techniques, tissue repair and evidence-based wound care.
