Christian Stempf is a Hygiene Adviser and international educator with more than 30 years of experience in infection prevention within the dental sector. His expertise focuses on the reprocessing of reusable medical devices, particularly instrument cleaning, disinfection, sterilization and the functional design of dedicated reprocessing areas. Through his work with healthcare professionals and infection prevention specialists worldwide, he has developed extensive practical knowledge of contemporary hygiene protocols and clinical safety requirements. Christian is a member of the European standardisation committee CEN/TC 102 and contributes to working groups addressing small steam sterilizers and washer-disinfectors. He also participated in the development of an advanced type B steam sterilizer. As Hygiene Adviser to the W&H Group, he provides vendor-independent lectures for healthcare professionals and comprehensive training courses for dental assistants internationally, with a strong emphasis on safe, efficient and standards-based instrument reprocessing.
